The mortgage, not vows, unites them

Question: My wife and I divorced last year, but her name is still on the mortgage. She wants it removed and signed a quitclaim deed, which I sent to the mortgage company. The lender refused to remove her name. I don't want to refinance because the interest rate I have is good. Is there any way to do this without refinancing or selling?
